Rirakkusu

Even late at night, Rirakkusu in Mukojima welcomes guests with a handmade otoshi—a small dish served with a drink—and house-made bar snacks. Behind the counter, the master holds a sommelier qualification and offers a broad range of drinks, from wine and cocktails to spirits.

Coffee deserves a mention here, too. You can enjoy a cup in the bar, or tell the staff what kind of flavour you like and choose house-roasted beans to take home. It adds another dimension to an evening at the bar.

The calm interior has counter seats at the front and box seats towards the back, with an atmosphere that makes it easy to drop in alone. Open every day except Sunday, from 20:00 until 3:00 the following morning, it’s a place to seek out a good drink and an unhurried conversation late at night.
